Super Sunday was something of a draw fest that did little to the Premier League standings, so it is all very much as you were. Manchester United returned to the top of the table; Sunderland’s point took them a step closer to a European, while Aston Villa moved out of the bottom three on goal difference.

In the papers this morning there have been a mixed bag of stories that includes the FA investigating the fan attack on Harper; West Ham fight to keep O’Neill, while Fergie names his title D-Day.
